Bringing it Up to Code.

It is vitally important that your new home is up to code especially as it pertains to the installation of piping.  Without a doubt, one of the most important aspects of a new construction project is installing the plumbing that links the building to the underground water supply and waste lines.  This is true in residential and commercial construction as well.

There are several considerations plumbers must consider to make sure the plumbing is supplied to every part of the building where it is needed.  The plumber who is chosen must adhere to all local building codes, and also must guarantee that your plumbing installation will be compliant with all regulations.

Attention construction companies in the Albuquerque area!    Eric has headed up a great group of plumbers and specializes in new construction piping installation in the ABQ area.  Before you break ground, make sure that E M Plumbing is on board by calling (505) 980-9334.

Drip, Drip, Drip.

An old commercial used this to describe stomach acid.  If you have a faucet or faucets in your home that continues to drip it can create an upset stomach from the annoyance.  During each use, the washer is forced against the valve seat, and this constant friction and resistance causes it to wear out. As a result, you notice dripping around the spout.

Here are some of the causes of an annoying leaky faucet –

1.  Damage parts such as O rings, inlet or outlet seals.
2.  An old, worn out cartridge.
3.  The water pressure may be too high.
4.  Possibly, a broken pipe or fitting.

Stop being frustrated by a leaky faucet!  Call a pro to tackle the problem.  Your Albuquerque area professional plumber is Eric Montoya the owner of E M Plumbing Heating and Mechanical.  Leaks in your home or office will disappear quickly when you call his team to come in and troubleshoot the problem.  That number is (505) 980-9334.

Red Tag Special.

This is not some deal at an ABQ discount store.  It has to do with red tags on appliances.  What does it mean when a gas appliance is “red-tagged”?  When the gas service to a home has been turned off by the local utility at a departing homeowner’s request or because of an unpaid bill, reactivating is not as easy as getting the electricity back on.

The first step that you need to take is to make an appointment for the right person to open the house so that a professional technician may go in to inspect for gas leaks and do a safety check of all the gas appliances before permanently unlocking the shut-off valve at the meter.  If there are any defects then a red and white tag is attached with a “do not use” sign.

All of this requires the proper professional to inspect your appliances and give them a clean bill of health.  In Albuquerque the answer to your next question is Eric Montoya of E M Plumbing.  Eric is a central New Mexico red tag inspection pro.  You will find him to be the right guy for the job of appliance inspection.  Call him at (505) 980-9334.

Water in…Water out.

It sounds simple, doesn’t it?  When you get right down to it, that is a description of plumbing in four words.  There are three major components in the plumbing system of a new home.  One is the water supply system.  Another is the drainage system (water out).  Then there are the appliances and fixtures themselves.

In Albuquerque, in order to install plumbing into a new home you need a licensed plumber.  Even if you wish to do some of the work yourself, that individual must oversee and approve the work.  Local codes determine standard plumbing procedures, but a new home’s fixture placement, pipe routing diagram and pipe size depends on the home’s individual layout.

There really is no need to call around for a licensed plumber to do the job.  In ABQ that man is Eric Montoya.  Eric has been this area’s new home and business construction plumbing installer for many years.  Remember, you need a pro on the job even if you are a DIY individual who would like to do some of the work themselves.  Call Eric at (505) 980-9334.
